10k STEPS CHALLENGE

Walk 10k steps every day for 14 days and get a chance to win $500 cash!

ADDITIONALLY, for BLACK FRIDAY, I will be adding two 8-week 1:1 online coaching packages to the prize pool.

All in, that’s valued at a little over $2000 in prizes up for grabs!

CONTEST OUTLINE

  1. Join the challenge at the bottom of this page. The entry fee is $25.

  2. The challenge begins Monday December 1st and ends Sunday December 14th - 14 days.

  3. The deadline to join is NOON EST on December 1.

  4. After joining, you’ll be added to the group. Daniel will be in there daily providing encouragement and helpful tips along with all of the other members of the challenge.

  5. Each day you will submit proof that you hit your 10k steps. Failure to hit 10k or submit proof results in elimination from prize eligibility.

  6. At the end of 14 days, all remaining eligible challenge members will be entered into a random draw to win the $500 or 1 of the 2 eight week online coaching packages.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You’re looking for some motivation to kick start a good habit.

  • You want to be held accountable.

  • You have no injuries or medical reason why you should not walk 10k steps a day.

  • You care about your fitness and health.

  • You want to win some money.

RESULTS FROM PAST CHALLENGES

HOW TO WIN

All participants will be in a group chat hosted on WhatsApp. Each day, you will submit proof (a screenshot of your step count, photo of your smartwatch etc.) to the group.

If you complete at least 10k steps for each of the 14 days, you will have successfully completed the challenge and be eligible to win the $500 prize or online coaching package.

Successfully completing the challenge awards you 8 entries to the random draw.

There are 2 ways to gain more entries to the draw (assuming you complete the challenge):

  1. Inviting a friend to join the challenge. Each friend that joins because of you will award you 2 additional entries to the draw. (25% increase per friend)

  2. Sharing on social media. Taking a photo/video of your steps or you walking and tagging me (@danielyores) and posting it on your Instagram, Threads, Facebook or X account 3 times during the challenge will award you 3 additional entries to the draw (37.5% increase)

By inviting 2 friends (3 is company, after all) and sharing on your social media 3 times, you would gain 7 extra entries to the draw. This gives you an 87.5 higher chance of winning!!!
